What Is A Mailchimp Signup Form?

Prerequisites

• You have an Arryved Web Solutions Website or Shop. 

• You have a Mailchimp account.

• This signup form will add the respondents to one of your Mailchimp Audiences. If you want to make a new Audience for this form, create that in Mailchimp first.

How It Works

Create A Mailchimp Popup Form

1. Log in to your Mailchimp Account.

2. Click Forms from the left-side navigation.

3. Click Create Popup Form.
   

4. Select the type of Form you want to create and then click Continue.
   

5. Customize the form to your liking and publish it. 

6. Once published, click Connect to Site.
   

7. Select the ‘Manually connect site’ option, then click Manually Connect.
   

8. Enter the URL to your Web Solutions website or shop.

9. Select the Audience you want the respondents to be added to.

10. Click Get Code Snippet. 
    

11. Click Copy Code.
    

Send The Link To Arryved, We’ll Embed It

Send the link in an email to your Arryved Web Solutions Specialist. If you don’t have their contact, send it to web-solutions-support@arryved.com. 

Once we have the snippet, we will add it to the code on your Site. You can update the design anytime in your Mailchimp account, and the changes will be reflected on your website (this might take a little time to update).

Want To Use A Mailchimp Landing Page Instead?

If you would like to go a different route to get email signups, you can create a signup landing page in Mailchimp and add its link anywhere on your Site. The steps will be similar to the ones above, however, there’s no need to add your site to the Mailchimp settings or scripts to your Site (a.k.a. you won’t need us to do this, but we’re happy to help if you hit a snag!)

1. From your Mailchimp account, head to Forms.

2. Click Other Forms.

3. Click Create new form.

4. Select Signup Landing Page. 

5. Follow the steps to create and design your landing page - be sure you check both desktop and mobile formats

6. Publish your landing page! 

7. Once you publish, you’ll see a link to copy. You can add this link anywhere in your website (or social media). Most commonly, we’ll add a button or link onto the website, that opens the landing page link in a new tab.
