Placing Products On Sale (Discounting)
Sale Item / Discounted Item
Products with a discount will look like this in your online shop. There will be a SALE! notice and the original price will be marked out. To do this to products in your shop, follow the tutorial below.
Simple Product
- Click on the General tab.
- Find the product and click to open it.
- Enter a price into the Sale price($) field.
- The Sale Price is the dollar amount the item will be once reduced. It is not a percentage discount.
- Click Update to save.
Variable Product
Click on the Variations tab.
Select a variation that you want to have a discount.
Enter the discounted price in the Sale price ($) field.

You can click into another variation and add a sale price before saving. Repeat for all variations.
After doing this for all variations, click Update to save.
Scheduling sales
When setting sale prices, you’ll notice that you are able to schedule items to go on or off sale on a specific day/time. We advise caution in using this feature for more than 5 products at the same time. The most reliable way to place items on sale is to update them manually.
