Monthly TSYS Statements
This intent of this guide is to provide a little clarity towards understanding the monthly statements and any key items to look at. As an account holder with TSYS, they provide monthly statements to you. These statements are made available electronically on the 5th of every month if you have not opted out of the online services; and are sent out via standard paper mail to the address that they have on file.
- If you are not receiving these, please refer to this article for guidance or help.
Prerequisites
- Read the Arryved Online Overview to familiarize yourself with the product before getting it set up.
How It Works
This guide is broken into two sections:
1. Monthly Statement Outline
2. Fee Descriptions
Monthly Statement Outline:
The example monthly statement below has been supplied by TSYS. There are 7 areas that have been labeled on the sheet, A-G. Each area has a description of its purpose next to the example statement. We have also defined a few specific fees that you may see on your exact statement that TSYS does not have on their example below.
A. Merchant-specific account details
B. Merchant name and address information
C. Total amount due, to be deducted on the 10th of the month
D. Summary of processing by card type
E. Breakdown of the transaction batch deposits by day
F. Breakdown of fees to be deducted from your account
G. Total of all discount and fees that will be deducted from your account - Discount is the percent amount that came out of the amount of sales volume. This is the Discount Rate or Base Rate. (Top of Statement)
- Fees are the Interchange, Monthly Fees & Transaction Fees. (Body of Statement)
