The tDynamo is Arryved’s newest card reader that offers tap, dip, swipe, and digital wallets all in one! The tDynamo is exclusive with Arryved Pay, our new, end-to-end, payment solution with in-house payment processing. Use this guide to troubleshoot your tDynamo card reader if you’re experiencing any issues.
The tDynamo has 4 LED lights on its left side. These lights help you indicate the current state of the reader and can help you troubleshoot from there.
Is the reader fully charged?
Is the charging cable functional? Can it successfully charge other tDynamo readers?
Test the charging cable on different outlets.
If all LEDs are off, the device is powered off.
If LED #4 is solid red, the battery is dead.
If LED #4 is solid red/yellow/green, this indicates the battery life is below 50%.
The card reader may have trouble connecting when it reaches 20% battery life and lower.
In Arryved Service, the card reader's current battery % is displayed at the top of the screen when attempting to complete a transaction.
Arryved Service will notify you to plug in your card reader when it reaches below 25%.
Tap the pushbutton on the side of the reader one time.
All 4 LEDS will flash for a quick test. Then the reader will connect to the device it was previously connected to.
If you need to pair the reader to your POS device, read the next section below.
On the side of the reader, hold the pushbutton down for 3 seconds (no longer than 3!).
Within the Android Settings on your POS device select Connections.
Select Bluetooth. Make sure the toggle switch is toggled on.
See if the reader is paired here. Look for the serial number on the back of your card reader.

Select the small icon to the right of the device name and click Unpair.
On your card reader, press and hold the button on the side of the reader for 2 seconds to enter Pairing Mode.
