Separating Auto-Gratuity From Tips

According to the One Big Beautiful Bill, tipped employees can receive a tax break, but auto-gratuity is not considered a tip. To help our merchants have accurate reporting for their payroll, we are working towards separating auto-gratuity from tip totals in our tip reporting. In this release, we have made this update for the following reports:
All related updates to our reports are now complete.

The following reports will continue to include autogratuity in their tip calculations:
  1. Tips by Hours
  2. Employee Cash
  3. Sales Activity
  4. Sales by Day
  5. Discrepant Tabs
  6. All Location Sales (SuperUser report)
  7. Venue Stats
We've added "includes autogratuity" language to these reports accordingly.

BUG FIXES

Daily Sales Report Tip Calculation Fixed

Fixed an issue in the the Daily Sales report where regular tips were being lumped in with autogratuity on tabs with multiple partial payments.

Digital Gift Cards Work With Age Gate

Fixed a bug that prevented consumers from buying digital gift cards when the age gate was enabled in Online Store. You can now use both features together without any issues.

Tips by Labor Hours Reports Fixed

The Tips by Labor Hours report and the Payroll Tips By Labor Hours report now calculate correctly when autogratuity is included in tip calculations. Previously, these reports would fail to load under certain conditions.
