Having issues with your MagTek eDynamo BLE card reader? Try one of the following troubleshooting tips.
Is the BLE completely charged?
Attempt a swipe on a card.
A green flash indicates a good charge.
A red light or no light indicates the reader likely needs to be charged.
Charging takes about 20 minutes for a surface charge, 2 hours for a full charge.
Is the charging cable for your BLE reader functional? Does it charge other BLE swipers?
Test the charging on different outlets.
Double-check that Bluetooth is turned on from the POS device.
Within the Android Settings, (not in Arryved Service) select Connections at the top of the page.
Select Bluetooth. Make sure that the toggle switch next to it, is blue (on).
Make sure your BLE reader is appropriately paired with your Arryved POS device.
From the same Connections page of your Android Settings, click on Bluetooth to see which (if any) reader is paired with this device.
Check the barcode sticker on the bottom of the reader to find the serial number. (you may have to remove it from the 3D-printed attachment piece to see this sticker)
This BLE should appear under the Paired Devices list as "e-Dynamo" followed by the serial number.

Reset
Open the Android Settings on your device.
Select Connections at the top of the list.
Select Bluetooth.
Find your BLE in the Paired Devices list.
It’s listed as eDynamo-[serial number of the BLE]
To find the serial number, please refer to the white sticker on the bottom of the card reader.
The serial number often looks something like BF34CDE1.
Repair
Select the small icon to the right of the device name and click Unpair.
On your MagTek reader, press and hold the BLE's pairing button (the oval-shaped button on the side of the device) until a red light flashes on the top of the swiper, then release. (About 20 seconds)
Press and hold the pairing button on the reader, again until the blue pairing light on the side of the device flashes blue. (About 3-5 seconds)
Your MagTek reader's serial number should now appear in the Available Devices list on Android devices.
Select the BLE from the list.
When prompted for a pin type in 000000 (six zeros in a row).
Arryved Service
Open Arryved Service,
Tap on the STAFF screen.
Tap Settings.
Tap the Reader button.
Select MagTek eDynamo {Serial #}.
Is there a solid Amber light present on the device? If so, your device is likely in Tamper Mode and needs to be sent back to the manufacturer.
