How To Create A Floor Plan in Arryved Portal

What Is  A Floor Plan?

A Floor Plan is a visual representation of your table layout in each Venue. Floor Plans are created in your Arryved Portal and appear under the MAP screen that’s added to Arryved Service. This article shows you how to create a Floor Plan and enable the MAP screen.

Prerequisites

  • To create a Floor Plan in your Arryved Portal, you must be a Super Admin or an Admin with both of the following Portal Permissions:

    • VENUE CONFIGURATION and MANAGE FLOOR PLAN

  • It’s recommended to sketch your Venue’s Floor Plan on paper or draft it in a design software first, to use as a reference when drawing it in your Arryved Portal.

Limitations

  • Floor Plans are unique to your Venues and can’t be cloned. It’s recommended to use different table numbers in your various Venues to avoid a mix-up.

  3. Choose a Venue that you’d like to give a Floor Plan.

  4. On the right side of the Venue page, click Venue Configuration

Create Floor Plan

  2. From the Venue page, click Edit Floor Plan.

Use the Floor Plan builder to draw the tables in your Venue. View the numbered image below to learn about the tools offered.

  1. Add Table

Use the Add Table dropdown to add either a round or rectangular table to the grid. From there you can manipulate its information, size, and placement.

  1. Table Selection

When a table shape is added to the grid, a blank bar appears on the right side. Click the bar to edit the information of this table.

  1. Table Name

The Table ID is a shortened version of the table name. It should just be a few characters long. This field is required.

The Public Table Name is used for OpenTab, ignore it for now.

The Description is the full name of the table. This field is required.

  1. Table Size And Placement

Use the fields below the table name to enter a precise size and placement of the table.

The %X and %Y fields move the table across the X and Y access of the grid. You can enter an exact value or use the up and down arrows.

The % Width and % Height fields stretch or shrink the table horizontally and vertically. You can enter an exact value or use the und and down arrows.

  1. Editing Tools

You can use the editing tools on the left side to manipulate the size and placement as well. Here’s what you can do.

You can add an image to the grid from your computer with the image tool. This is helpful if you have an architectural floor plan of your tables, you can draw right over them! The size requirement for this image is Width 640px X Height 930px.

  1. Grid

The grid is where your tables appear. You can click on a table to select it.
