What Is My Arryved Gmail?

As an Arryved customer, you’ll need one Gmail address dedicated to your Arryved POS. All of your POS devices need to be signed in to that Gmail account. It’s strongly advised to create a new Gmail account and never use a personal account on your POS devices. This guide shows you how to create a new Gmail account and how to sign into your devices with it.

Prerequisites

  • Have a recovery email address and phone number handy to enter as a backup. This recovery information should be accessible by the right person or people for your business who can access it when needed. Plan for if the person who holds the recovery info were to leave the company.

Limitations

  • Arryved can’t help you or your business members find the credentials of your Gmail account. Be sure to enter a recovery email and phone number so you can change the password when needed. Remember to change your recovery information if the current recovery information were to be terminated.

  • Please keep in mind that new managers, owners, or key decision-makers may need access to this Gmail account. Keep a record of the credentials in a safe yet accessible place.

How It Works

Create A New Gmail

  1. Head to the Gmail signup page

  2. Follow the steps to Create a Google Account

    • You’ll need to enter some personal information and create an email address and password.

    • Be sure to choose a recovery email that’s accessible to the right people in your business.

  3. Record the email address and password in a safe place that’s accessible to present and future employees who would need it.

Log Into Your POS Devices

  1. Grab one of your POS devices (a tablet, handheld, or terminal).

  2. Open the Settings on the device (look for a grey icon with a gear symbol).

  3. From the left side options, tap Accounts and backup.

  4. Tap Manage accounts.

  5. Tap Add account.

  6. Tap Google or Gmail.

  7. Sign in with your new Arryved POS Gmail account.

  8. Repeat these steps to sign in on all of your POS devices.

We’ve set Arryved Service to auto-update on each of your POS devices if you’ve purchased your hardware through Arryved, so you’re always using the latest version!
