How to Enter a Guest Count

How to Enter a Guest Count

What Is A Guest Count?

A Guest Count is the number of guests ordering off a single tab. Entering a Guest Count helps you estimate how many guests have entered your establishment in your Arryved reporting. The dashboard in your Arryved Portal quickly shows you the full Guest Count and is accurate if you’re using Gust Count properly. This article shows you how to apply a guest count to a tab in Arryved Service.

Limitations

  • If you are using Seat Numbers, the Arryved system will use that to count the total number of guests as well. The system will use the higher number in reporting if you’re using both Seat Number and a Guest Count on the same tab.

How It Works

You can enter a Guest Count for a tab using the Guests button. The button is found in two places,

  1. From the Running Tab Window.

  2. When selecting a table number.

Running Tab Window

Follow these steps to find the Guests button via the Running Tab Window.

  1. Open Arryved Service and log in.

  2. From the TAB screen. tap a tab of choice from the tab list.

  3. From the tab’s Running Tab Window, tap Guests.

  1. From the Guests prompt, choose the number of guests that are ordering off this tab.

  2. The Guest Count is now updated for this tab. You’ll be taken back to the Running Tab Window.

Table Selection

Follow these steps to find the Guests button via Table Selection.

  1. From the TAB screen in Arryved Service, tap New at the bottom of the screen.

  2. This will start a new tab. Tap on the box in the top right corner that says “No.”

  3. This is where you’ll assign a table number to this tab if needed. Below the list of tables, find the Guests button.

  4. Choose a number of guests from the prompt.

  5. Tap Send to save the count and table number selection.

    • Either a tab name or table number is required to save the tab.

Note: the Guests button is only available here when starting a new tab. It will disappear once the tab is saved. To enter a guest count on an active tab, use the Guests button from the Running Tab Window.
