How To Download Sandbox

What Is Arryved Service Sandbox?

Arryved Service is the POS product you'll use to place orders, manage tabs, and more! Arryved Service Sandbox is a replica of Arryved Service, but in a testing environment. Sandbox is used during the Arryved onboarding process for training and practice. Transactions aren't actually processed in Sandbox and it has its own reporting that won't interfere with your reporting once you go live in the real Arryved Service.

Prerequisites

  • Call Arryved Support to get an authorization code to install Sandbox. The code will not be sent through email.

    • (720)310-0361

  • Have the POS devices handy you wish to download Sandbox on.

Limitations

  • It is advised not to use Sandbox after your location has begun transacting with Arryved. Having both the Sandbox and the live Production versions of Arryved Service on a device is risky because an employee may accidentally use Sandbox and the transaction won't go through.

How It Works

Step 1: Download Sandbox

  1. On the POS device, open the internet browser (Google Chrome works best).
  2. Go to sandbox.arryved.com/admin
  3. Get the authorization code from Arryved Support. Enter the code when ready.
  4. From the list of APKs, tap the one with the highest number (latest version) to download it.
  • You may be prompted to allow unknown sources to be downloaded. Tap allow.

  1. Once the install is complete, tap open from the popup window.
    1. If no popup window appears, find Arryved Sandbox from the Apps list on the device.

  2. You will need to allow several permissions that will popup. Tapping Don’t Allow on anything will disable important functions needed.
    1. Once all of the permissions are allowed, you will see the Register New Merchant Device screen. Continue to Step 2.

Step 2: Validate Device

Now you'll head to the Sandbox version of Arryved Portal.
  1. From a computer or device, head to sandbox.arryved.com
    • Note: If you are already a transacting location, you will not have access to Sandbox, only new launching Locations will.

  2. Log in using your Arryved email. Reach out to your Implementation Manager if you're unsure what that is.
  3. From the left side navigation, click Devices
  4. Click on Merchant Devices.
  5. Click + Add New Device.
  6. Give the device a name. It's helpful to name the device with the Venue name it will live in and the device's model and serial number.
    1. Example: "Bar Tablet A7 - 02918"

  7. Click Save.
  8. You will see a Validation Code appear on the screen.
    • This code can only be used one time and will expire after 30 minutes.

  9. Go back to Arryved Service Sandbox on the POS device.
  10. From the Register New Merchant Device screen, enter the code and click Validate.

Gut Check!

If everything has worked properly, you will arrive at the login screen of Arryved Sandbox Service.
