At Arryved, we are constantly striving to improve and innovate! We release new versions of our products fairly often. It’s strongly encouraged to regularly update Arryved Service on all of your devices to ensure you have access to the latest tools and features. And, newer versions are more reliable as older versions become obsolete. This article shows you how to manually update Arryved Service from Google Play.
Grab any and all of your POS devices that have Arryved Service.
These instructions are for a one-time update. To set up automatic updates, read How To Turn On Auto-Updates For Android Apps.
It’s advised not to update Arryved Service on a device that’s currently in use during business hours. It’s best to update the device during off hours or when it’s not in use.
You can update Arryved Service the same way you would on any of your Android apps, through Google Play.
Open the Google Play app from your POS device.
Make sure you are toggled to the Apps section, by tapping the Apps icon at the bottom of the screen.
Use the search bar and type in 'Arryved Service'.
Look for the purple square with the Arryved logo.
You may be able to update the app from here if you see the 'Update' button to the right.
But, if that button says 'Open', tap on the Arryved Service app to open more options.
Look for the button that says 'Update' near the top. If you don’t see it, try looking under the three vertical dots near the top right corner.
If the button still says 'Open', you're currently using the latest version of Arryved Service on this device.
Repeat these steps to update Arryved Service on all of your devices.
