A card reader that offers tap, dip, swipe, and digital wallets all in one device.
The tDynamo supports card on file with EMV.
EMV offers a more secure payment technology that reduces fraud and chargeback risk.
tDynamo readers are more durable and reliable than our previous card readers.
Leasing options are available with a lifetime warranty.
Arryved Pay honors your current processing rates. No increases.
To have access to the new tDynamo card readers, you must switch your payment processing from TSYS to Arryved Pay. The new card readers are encrypted through Arryved Pay and can’t be supported by TSYS.
If the card reader’s battery is below 20%, it may have a hard time connecting to Arryved Service.
It may take up to 3 seconds for the reader to initiate a connection when processing a transaction.
Present an EMV-support card or an Apple Pay, or Google Pay digital wallet to the card reader for a tap.
Dip the EMV chip on a card into the card reader’s port.
The swipe function becomes available if tap or dip fails 3 times. Swipe is used as a backup method on this card reader.
The tDynamo with Arryved Pay allows you to leave a card on file with tap or dip!
This is a fairly new concept in the payments industry, so there are some limitations you must know about:
Starting a tab with a card tap will grab the card number but depending on the card issuer, it may not be able to grab the card name. In this case, the Tab Name field in Arryed Service will auto-fill with something generic such as ‘Cardholder Name’.
To grab the name on the card, immediately swipe the card through the reader after a dip. This grabs the card name and auto-fills it in the Tab Name field. Don’t worry, you won’t be charged a transaction or processing fee for the swipe!
Starting a tab by tapping an Apple Pay or Google Pay digital wallet won’t grab the card name at all. The Tab Name field in Arryed Service will auto-fill with something generic such as ‘Cardholder Name’.
The swipe trick doesn’t work with digital wallets. You must manually enter a name in the Tab Name field in Arryved Service.
Dipping the card chip into the reader to start a tab will grab both the card info and the card name. Hooray! No further action is needed.
You have the option to purchase the tDynamo card readers in full or lease them for a monthly cost:
Save money on the total price of the hardware.
One-year manufacturer’s warranty included.
Pay less upfront.
Warranty extended to the lifetime of the lease term.
The tDynamo lasts up to 6 hours with continuous use or 11 hours if sitting idle.
The card reader may have a hard time connecting to the POS when the battery level dips below 20%.
A single solid red LED indicates the card reader is out of battery life.
A single LED that’s both red and green indicates the battery is below 50%.
It’s strongly encouraged to charge your tDynamo card readers at the end of each day to avoid a disruption in transactions the next day.
tDynamo card readers can either be mounted directly to your POS device to move freely with the device or be placed in a stand-alone mount and placed on any surface area.
If mounting to a POS device directly, attach the mounting clip to the device so the reader itself can be easily removed for charging, replacement, or accessing the serial number on the back.
