How To Clone An Inventory Item
What Is Cloning?
Cloning Items in the Arryved Portal can save a lot of time! It allows you to copy the Unit Sizes and Costs, Attributes Item Type, and tax data from an item you've already built. This can save you time when creating similar Inventory Items. This article provides instructions for cloning an Inventory Item.
Prerequisites
To create, edit, or clone Inventory Items in your Arryved Portal, you must be a Super Admin or an Admin with one of the following Portal Permissions:
INVENTORY
ARRYVED VIEW
ALL ACCESS
FULL ADMIN
Limitations
Not all data from the Inventory Item creation page can be cloned. Some things need to be entered again manually, such as menus.
How it Works
Go to your Arryved Portal.
Click Inventory.
Click Inventory Folders.
You can drill down to the specific folder where your item lives or find it under All Items.
Once you find the item you want to clone, click on it to open it.
Click Clone from the top right corner.
A list of your Inventory Item folders will appear, click which one you’d like the new cloned item to live in.
You will be taken to your new item! Notice it has the same name as the previous item but "(Clone)" is added to the end of the Name. Go ahead and change the name fields as needed.
Add or change any additional information needed for this new item.
Click Save when finished
