Creating Unit Sizes

Create any and all possible Unit Sizes in your Arryved Portal. As you create Inventory Items, you will apply the appropriate Unit Sizes. Watch the video, then follow the steps.

  1. Head to your Arryved Portal.

  2. From the left side navigation, click Inventory.

  3. Click Inventory Settings.

  4. Click Unit Sizes.

  5. Scroll to the bottom of the list and enter a new Unit Size into the blank fields.

(1) Name

In the Name field, enter the full name of the Unit Size. This is the name you see when adding Unit Sizes to your individual Inventory Items.

(2) Button Display

In the Button Display field, enter a name that will appear on the button in Arryved Service used to place the order.

(3) Button Position

Click the Button Position dropdown to select a position (column). This position is the order in which the Unit Size button will appear next to the other Unit Size buttons when being ordered in Arryved Service. Watch the video for a detailed explanation.

  • Consider which other Unit Sizes would be grouped with this one and how you would like them ordered.

  • For example, SM (Column 1), MED (Column 2), LG (Column 3).

  • Only Columns 1-4 will appear in buttons next to the item in Arryved Service on a tablet, or 1-3 on a smaller handheld device. Any additional sizes will appear under the 3 horizontal dots with more size options.

(4) Ticket Display

In the Ticket Display field, enter a name up to 4 characters that will appear on printed prep tickets.

(5) Web Display

In the Web Display field, enter a name that will display on your Arryved Online Store or OpenTab.

(6) Record Display

In the Record Display field, enter a name no more than 3 characters long that will be commonly displayed in reports. This is also visible in Arryved Service when viewing details of a tab via the Running Tab Screen.

(7) Arryved View Bev Icon

You can choose an Icon to be displayed on Arryved View digital menus. If you are not using Arryved View, you can skip this step.

(8) Size Quantity Value

In the Size Quantity Value field, enter a value if the Unit Size is going to be associated with a draft item. Size Quantity Value is the number of ounces (or other units of measurement) associated with that Unit Size and is used in the various reports to track sales. If the size will not be associated with a draft item, leave the Size Quantity Value set to the default of 1.

Reports:

  • If using the Size Quantity Value field to track ounces for draft items, use the Draft Beer report to see ounces sold.

    • Item Types that are assigned any of the following Categories will be included in this report: BEER, DRAFT_BEER, DRAFT_CIDER, WINE, BEVERAGE.

  • If using the Size Quantity Value field to track ounces or other units of measurement for other types of Inventory, use the Item Rank report to see sales data in the “Amount Sold” column. This report will show sales data on all of your Inventory Items, but the report can be filtered.

  • The Item Rank By Day report is the same as above but will break down the sales data by each day instead of grouping multiple days together.

  • All 3 reports track sales based on the Size Quantity Value of the Unit Sizes sold.

(9) Custom Image

The Custom Image function is not available at this time.

(10) Online Sort Order

In the Online Sort Order field, enter a value to position this Unit Size in a logical order compared to the others on your Arryved Online Store. The lowest number is displayed first. This is similar to Button Position, but specifically for your Online Store. For example, using values 1-5 for Unit Sizes XS-XL.
