How It Works

Adding Unit Sizes To Inventory Items

  1. From your Arryved Portal, click Inventory from the left side navigation.

  2. Click on an Inventory Folder or create a new one.

  3. Click on an Inventory Item or click New Item +

  4. From the Inventory Item details page, click Costs to dropdown the section.

  5. Use the guidelines below to add Unit Sizes and fill out the associated fields.

(1) Add Cost

Click the Add Cost Plus Sign to add a Unit Size. Multiple Unit Sizes can be added to an Inventory Item.

(2) Quantity By Size

Check this box if the Unit Sizes of this item have a hard count, such as T-shirt sizes. If this box is checked, Inventory will deplete by size, rather than the whole Inventory Item.

(3) Conversion Type

This is only needed if you are using the Orchestrated Beer (OBeer) Integration. Please talk to your Implementation Manager or Arryved Support for more information.

(4) Pick / Customize The Unit Size

Once you click the Add Cost Plus Sign, a row of fields will appear. This is where you will add and customize the Unit Sizes to this Inventory Item.

Size: Choose a Unit Size from the dropdown list. The list will contain all of your unique Unit Sizes.

Price: Enter a price for this Unit Size of this Inventory Item. This is the price you are offering the item for on your menu.

COGs: Cost of Goods Sold. Enter the cost of this Unit Size of this item. Cost refers to the dollar amount spent by the business in order to acquire this item. The COGs field is not present automatically, it is enabled by Location Preference. Talk to your Implementation Manager for more information.

Quantity in Stock: Enter a number for the hard count on hand for this Unit Size of this item. As this size is ordered, the inventory count will deplete. If you have the Quantity By Size box checked above, each Unit Size will deplete separately. If the box is unchecked, the entire item will kick if one of the Unit Sizes kicks.

State: Choose between Active, Inactive, or Out (Kicked) for this item’s Unit Size(s). The default will be Active. Active means the item is in stock and available for sale. Out (Kicked) means the item is in circulation but out of stock until replenished. Inactive means the item is not available for sale on your menu.

Conversion ID: This field is used for Arryved's integrations talk to your Implementation Manager or Arryved Support for more information.

SKU: A Stock Keeping Unit is a unique number given to each Inventory Item and Unit Size for your barcode scanner to recognize and scan the item. This field is not available by default, talk to your Implementation Manager for more information.

Pricing: If you are using Timed Menus, you will need to select a Pricing Type other than the default of Normal. Please coordinate with your Implementation Manager or Arryved Support for more information.

CRV/+ Use Tax: Use this field if the California Redemption Value or Deposit Use Tax applies to you. Please contact an Accountant if you are unsure. Keep in mind, the value entered for the CRV is for a specific Unit Size. If a single can is $0.05, a 4pk will be entered as $0.20.

Loyalty Cost: Loyalty Cost pertains to Arryved Insider. This field needs to be activated by your Implementation Manager or Arryved Support.

Max # per Guest Order: Enter a numerical value in this field to limit how many of this size of this item a guest can purchase through your Arryved Online Store.

(5) Arryved Service Preview

Using the Arryved Service preview, you can see how the item will appear in Arryved Service with the Unit Sizes associated. The order in which the Unit Size buttons appear is based on the Button Position assigned to it from the Unit Size creation page.

Click Save at the top or bottom of the page when finished!
