When creating Inventory Items, you can assign a quantity to the Unit Sizes of each item. Whether you are selling a one-sized steak dish or merch in different sizes, you probably want to track how much is being sold and when you run out. This article shows you how to track the sale and depletion of your Inventory Items with the Availability by Size and Quantity In Stock features.
To view and edit Inventory Items in your Arryved Portal, you must be a Super Admin or an Admin with one of the following Portal Permissions:

The Availability by Size and Quantity In Stock features are used to track the Inventory Items you create in your Arryved Portal. It doesn’t track the individual ingredients or components of the Inventory Item.
There is a Checkbox in the Costs section of the Inventory Item page labeled “Availability by Size.” When the box is checked, it tells the system that you want to deplete the different Unit Sizes of the item individually instead of depleting the item as a whole.
Head to your Arryved Portal.
From the left side navigation, click Inventory.
Click on Inventory Folders.
Click on a Folder of choice.
From the Folder, click on an Inventory Item of choice or create a new item.
Scroll down to the Costs section and click on the arrow to drop down the information.
At the top of the Costs section, check the Availability by Size checkbox.
You’ll add the actual quantity of the item in the Quantity In Stock field next to each of the item’s Unit Sizes in the Costs section.
Unit Sizes can have different counts and can be 86’d at different times if the Availability by Size box is checked.
If there's only one Unit Size, checking the Availability by Size checkbox is irrelevant.
If the Quantity In Stock box is checked, each Unit Size can have a different Quantity In Stock count and the item will deplete by size. Meaning if one size is 86'd, the others can still be made available for sale.
If there's a Quantity In Stock count added to multiple Unit Sizes, but the Availability by Size button is NOT checked, then as soon as one Unit Size is depleted to 0, all sizes are 86'd and can't be ordered.
