We know it’s common in hospitality for guests to change their minds after an order is placed, or for an employee to make an honest mistake. No biggie, while you make it right for your guests, voids help make it right for your inventory.
In the best-case scenario, an employee caught the change before the wrong item was prepared. If so, voiding the item deletes it from the guest’s tab and replenishes the Inventory count in your Arryved system. This article shows you how to void an item or an entire order.
To void items or orders, you must be logged in to Arryved Service under a Labor Role with the ORDER ITEM VOID Permission.

Log into Arryved Service.
From the TAB screen, search for and tap on a tab.
From the Running Tab Window, tap Details.
You’ll see each order separated into chunks on the screen. Use the Trashcan icon to void the entire order next to it. All items from that order will be deleted from the tab and replenished in your Inventory.

Tap Change.
The items from that order will appear on the order screen. Use the red minus button to delete an item from the screen.
You may need to tap the minus sign more than once if there is a quantity of 2 or more of an item ordered at once, depending on how many of that item you’d like to void. You’ll see the quantity of each item next to the green plus sign on the left.
Tap Send to update the order.
The item will be deleted from the tab and replenished in your Inventory.
