How To Add Online Required Add-ons
What Are Online Required Add-ons?
Arryved's Online required add-ons are a way to require an item to be purchased with another item when ordered through your Arryved Online Store. For example, if Someone orders a growler online, they'll need to purchase the vessel too. Or, maybe you want to charge a dollar or two for to-go containers and utensils when food is ordered online. Use this guide to learn how to add Online Required Add-ons to your Inventory.
Prerequisites
- Contact Arryved Support to enable Online Required Add-ons for your location.
- Any item that would be the “add-on” needs to be an existing Inventory Item as well as the items you want to add on to.
- You must be An Arryved Portal Super Admin or an Admin with one of the following Permissions:
- INVENTORY
- ALL ACCESS
- FULL ADMIN
Limitations
Online required add-ons are only for Inventory Items that are to be sold through your Online Store.
How It Works
Head to your Arryved Portal.
From the left side navigation, click Inventory.
Click on an Inventory Folder.
Click on the Inventory Item you would like to give a required add-on.
Scroll down and click on the Online Required Add-on section to drop down the fields.
If you don't see this section, contact Arryved Support to enable it.
Click Add Another Dependency.
Use the guidelines below to create the Online Required Add-on.
Click Save.
Parent Item Size: From this dropdown, select the Unit Size of the Inventory Item to apply the add-on to. For example, for growler add-ons, select the 320z and/or 64oz size of the beer. If you want both, create separate ones by clicking the Add Another Dependency button again.
- If this is a brand-new Inventory Item, you must save it first and then reopen the Online Required Add-ons section again so that the sizes appear.
Dependent Inventory Item: Here, select the item you want to require to be purchased with the item being ordered. The add-on item needs to already exist as its own Inventory Item. Begin to type the item, when it appears, click on it to add it.
Dependent Item Size: If the required add-on item has different Unit Sizes, select the one you want here.
More Options: This is how you can delete this add-on.
*In the above example, there were two Online Required Add-ons added to a draft beer Inventory Item for its 32oz and 60oz Unit Sizes. The required add-ons are the 32oz and 64oz glass vessels.
