What Are Receipt Layout Preferences?
Location Preferences, available in your Arryved Portal, allow you to customize the Arryved Product suite, per location, to meet your business needs. The Preferences are broken into sections. The ‘Receipt Layout’ section allows you to write custom messaging that appears in the headers and footers of your guest-facing receipts. Use this guide to learn how to customize your receipts and see what they look like.
Prerequisites
To access and edit the Location Preferences page, you must be an Arryved Portal Super Admin.
Limitations
Location Preferences are set per location. From your Arryved Portal, you must toggle between your locations and adjust Preferences individually.
Some of your Location Preferences need to be enabled or disabled by Arryved personnel only. Don’t hesitate to reach out to our award-winning Support Team if you can’t find what you’re looking for in your Arryved Portal.
How It Works
- Head to your Arryved Portal and log in as a Super Admin.
- From the left side navigation, click Location Settings.
- Click Location Preferences.
- Find the section titled ‘Receipt Layout’.
- Type your custom messaging in the boxes provided in this section. Use the images below to see where the text appears on printed receipts.
Customer Receipt Header
The text in this section appears across the top of the guest-facing printed bill. This is the itemized bill that would be printed and presented to the guest before accepting payment.
Custom Receipt Footer
The text in this section appears across the bottom of the guest-facing printed bill. This is the itemized bill that would be printed and presented to the guest before accepting payment.
Signature Receipt Header
The text in this section appears across the top of both the customer copy and the merchant copy of the guest signature receipt. This is the type of receipt used to collect tips and signatures by hand. This receipt only prints for Venues that have the Digital Signature screen disabled.
Ticket Extra
This section is not in use at this time. Please skip it.
Customer Signature Receipt Footer
The text in this section appears across the bottom of the customer copy of the guest signature receipt. This is the type of receipt used to collect tips and signatures by hand and the copy the guest gets to keep. This receipt only prints for Venues that have the Digital Signature screen disabled.
Merchant Signature Receipt Footer
The text in this section appears across the bottom of the merchant copy of the guest signature receipt. This is the type of receipt used to collect tips and signatures by hand and is collected by the merchant. This receipt only prints for Venues that have the Digital Signature Screen disabled.
