Fresh KDS will handle most of the onboarding and support for this integration. Please reach out to them for any questions or concerns about the functionality of the Fresh KDS Products including the Fresh KDS App, the Fresh Tools Portal, and the SMS feature.
Arryved’s Support Team can address the functionalities of the integration in the Arryved Portal, the Arryved ordering modalities, or any hardware purchased from Arryved.

Fresh KDS is its own awesome entity. You’ll need to sign up for a subscription with them first, then we can integrate your Fresh plan with your Arryved POS.
Head to fresh.technology.
Either request a demo or sign up for the free trial.
Select Arryved as your POS of choice so you can receive the proper onboarding instructions.
You’ll need to purchase your desired KDS hardware as soon as possible so we get the devices set up with the integration. Browse the Arryved Hardware Catalog for KDS-specific hardware that’s designed for kitchen environments. You have the option to source your own hardware if you’d like.
Read the Fresh KDS Hardware Overview for some advice on what hardware you may need.
Make your KDS hardware decisions and get those purchases in as soon as possible.
Please note that an Arryved Print Controller is required if you’re setting up Arryved Online or OpenTab for the first time.

Ask your Fresh Representative about sourcing your own hardware. Fresh has their own requirements.
The Arryved team member you’re working with on this integration will help you schedule a hardware installation.
During the install, Arryved will help you with the rest of the configuration needed in your Arryved Portal including your order routing.
Let Arryved know if you want to use Print On Bump, they can set that up for you too.
You need to have your hardware purchased and in hand before the install takes place.
As you wait for your hardware to arrive, you’ll continue to work with Fresh to get your Fresh Tools portal set up. Here’s what you can expect to complete:

While you’re setting up your Fresh Tools portal, you’ll need to grant Arryved access to it by inviting us as a User. We need access to your Fresh Tools account to make the connection between Fresh and Arryved.
Here’s what you need to do:
In your Fresh Tools portal, create a new User with integrations@arryved.com as the email address for that User.
Give that User the Administrator Role.
3. Once the User is added, click Edit next to that email address on the User list.4. Check both boxes labeled 'All Current & Future Companies' under the Companies: and Locations: sections.5. Click Update.
*Please note that by creating this User for the Arryved Integrations Team, you’re granting Arryved access to your Fresh KDS data. Feel free to contact Arryved Support with any questions or concerns.
When your hardware arrives, reach out to your Fresh representative to help you configure the Fresh KDS App. This is how you can tailor the function of each screen to meet your kitchen needs.
If you purchased your hardware from the Arryved Hardware Catalog, the Fresh KDS App will be installed on your screens when they arrive!
If you sourced your own hardware, your Fresh rep will need to help you install the app on each screen.
If you’re interested in the SMS texting feature, you can set that up in the Fresh KDS App. Ask Fresh for more information.
Also in the app, you can allow the screen to accept orders from whichever order modalities you’d like. Use the infographic below to see what each of the Arryved modalities are labeled as in the Fresh KDS App.
Get ready for your Hardware Installation appointment! Be sure you have that scheduled with the Arryved Team. We’ve created the Fresh KDS Pre-Install Checklist to help ensure the install goes as smoothly as possible. Please read and complete the checklist prior to your install appointment.
When it comes to integrations, there are always two different companies involved: Arryved and the integration partner (in this case, it’s Fresh!). It can sometimes be difficult to know who to reach out to at what times. Here’s some guidance on when to call Arryved Support or Fresh Support:

For Fresh Support, go to fresh.technology and click the Chat Icon in the bottom right corner. Start a Chat with a Fresh Representative.
Reach out to Arryved Support for any questions or concerns regarding the Arryved Portal, Arryved’s ordering modalities, or any hardware that was purchased from the Arryved Catalog.
