Online shoppers are able to browse your menu offering when visiting your Arryved Online Store and add items to their cart. Using your Inventory Items, you’ll curate menus in your online Venue(s) that your Order Modalities are assigned to. Use this guide to set up your Arryved Online menus.
If you’re setting up your Arryved Online Store now, begin with the Arryved Online Setup Guide and follow the steps in order. This is step 4 of the Setup Guide.
You’ve created your online Venues.
To create online menus, you must be an Arryved Portal Super Admin or an Admin with one of the following Permissions:
INVENTORY
ALL ACCESS
FULL ADMIN
If you want your online Order Modalities to have different menu offerings, you need to create a separate online Venue for them. If any two or more Modalities can have the same menu offering, they can work under the same Venue.
Your online menus are created in your online Venues. A Venue can have more than one menu. In your Arryved Online Store, shoppers toggle between the various menus to see the items within them.
You’ll want to create and name separate menus in a way that’s intuitive for guests to browse through. For example: ‘Drinks’, ‘Appetizers’, and ‘Entrees’ could all be separate menus that guests can browse. Or perhaps something like, ‘Food’ ‘Bottles & Cans’, and ‘Merch’ However you want to organize your menu items into groups, you’ll create your menus accordingly.
Reminder! The various Arryved Online Order Modalities (Pickup, Curbside, Delivery, In Person, and Ship It) can have their own menus if you create separate online Venues for them.
Head to your Arryved Portal.
From the left side navigation, click Venue.
Click on one of your online Venues.
Under the Menus section of the Venue page, click the Plus Sign (+) to add a new menu.
Give the menu a name in the Menu Description box.
Click Create.
Once you click Create, you’re taken to the menu building page where all of your inventory Items are listed and grouped by their Item Type.
To include your Inactive Inventory Items on this page, check the box next to ‘Show inactive items’.
You can use the ‘Filter Items’ field to type in a keyword to narrow your search.
Add a single item to this menu, by clicking on the item’s green box.
Add an entire Item Type by clicking Add All under it.
The items you’ve added to this menu will populate in a list at the top, under the ‘Name’ section.
In your Arryved Online Store, you may want to only offer specific Unit Sizes. For example, selling just the 6-pack and 4-pack Unit Sizes of your beer Inventory Items, and avoiding the Pint, and other draft sizes. Here’s how:
Scroll to the top of the menu builder page.
In the Order ONLINE Settings section, under Add Inventory Size, use the dropdown list to select from your list of available Unit Sizes.
As you select a Size, it’ll appear to the right. Keep adding the Unit Sizes you want to include on this online menu.
If you don’t have any Sizes selected here, all of your Unit Sizes will be available on this online menu.
Pro Tips!
On the Unit Sizes page in your Arryved Portal, use the Web Display field to change the name of the Unit Size when it’s displayed in your online menus.
And, use the Online Sort Order field to arrange your Sizes in chronological order for online shoppers to select from.

Optionally, you can remove a Unit Size from a specific item for this menu. Just below the section where you added Unit Sizes, is a list of the Inventory Items you’ve added to this menu. Each item’s name appears in a grey bar.
Click on the grey bar to expand that item.
The available Unit Sizes for this item are shown with a checkbox. Uncheck the box to remove that Size from this menu.
Click Save for each item you make a change to.
P.S. Here you’ll also find the Remove button to delete the item from this menu.
At the very top left corner of the menu builder page, look for the ‘Active’ checkbox.
The box is checked by default meaning the menu is Active and available on your Arryved Online Store.
When you uncheck the box, the menu becomes Inactive and the entire menu is removed from your Arryved Online Store until made Active again.
An Active menu may have Inactive items on it that won’t be available on the menu until made active again.
Take a look at the menu you just curated including the Items and Sizes you’ve added. When everything looks good, you can back out of this page by selecting an option from the left side navigation menu of your Arryved Portal.
To create another menu, select Venue from the left side navigation menu.
Select the same online Venue you were just working with.
Click the Plus Sign (+) again to add another menu.
You’ll start to see your menus appear on the Menu list. If the menu is in a purple bar, it’s Active. Inactive menus appear in yellow
The nifty thing about online Venus is the ability to sort both the menus and the items within them. When online shoppers toggle through the menus, they are arranged in a way that’s easy and intuitive to navigate through.
