How To Enter Gift Card Prefixes
What Are Gift Card Prefixes?
Oftentimes a set of gift card numbers will each begin with the same long string of numbers. This is known as the prefix. You can set up gift card prefixes, so in the event you need to manually enter a gift card number in Arryved Service, you can save time by tapping one button to enter the prefix. From there, all you need to do is enter the rest of the unique numbers of the gift card.

How It Works
Set Up Your Prefixes In Your Arryved Portal
- Head to your Arryved Portal and log in as a Super Admin.
- From the left side navigation bar, click Location Settings.
- Click Location Preferences.
- Scroll down to the 'Arryved Service' section and find the Preference 'Gift Card Prefixes'
- Pro Tip! Press Command + F (for Mac) or Cntrl + F (for PC) and you can search for words on the page.
- In the box under the 'Gift Card Prefixes' Preference, type in your prefixes. If you want to enter more than one, separate them with a semicolon.
- Click Save at the top or bottom of the page.
Using Gift Card Prefixes In Arryved Service
You can use the gift card prefix feature to save time when you need to manually enter a gift card number. There are multiple ways to find manual gift card entry screen in Arryved Service.
Via the Gift Card Query.
Via the Payment Options Screen.
From an existing tab.
From a quick closeout.
Gift Card Query
Open and log in to Arryved Service.
Tap STAFF at the top of the screen.
Tap Gift Card Query.
Tap the 3 vertical dots in the top right corner or the window.
Tap Manual Gift Card.
Payment Options Screen
From An Existing Tab:
Open and log into Arryved Service.
Tap TAB at the top of the screen.
Tap Pay next to the tab of your choice.
From the Payment Options screen, tap Manual Gift Card.
From A Quick Closeout:
Open and log into Arryved Service.
Tap TAB at the top of the screen.
Tap New at the bottom of the screen.
Add items to the order screen.
Tap the box with the tab total on the top left corner.
From the Payment Options screen, tap Manual Gift Card.
Using Gift Card Prefixes
Now that you are on the manual gift card screen, you can enter a prefix before entering the rest of the unique card numbers.
From the manual gift card entry screen, tap the prefix button once to populate the first prefix.
Keep tapping the prefix button to populate the other prefixes until you see the one you need.
Once your desired prefix is entered, tap on the entry bar so the cursor is shown at the end of the prefix numbers entered.
Type the rest of the unique gift card numbers.
Tap Query to see the card balance or Pay to use this gift card for payment.
