How To Manage Online Orders In Arryved Service

What Are Online Orders In Arryved Service?

If you’re set up with an Arryved Online Store, your guests can access your mouth-watering goods at the tip of their fingers whether they are at home, on-premise, or somewhere else! The orders that come from your Online Store can show up in Arryved Service in a few different places. Use this guide to see the various ways you can manage your Arryved Online orders, from Arryved Service

Prerequisites

  • You are set up with an Arryved Online Store. 

  • The ORDER screen will need to be enabled per Venue in Venue Configuration. 

  • To use the Order Fulfillment screen, reach out to Arryved Support to enable it for you. 

Limitations

  • If online orders are not marked complete in Arryved Service, they will remain active. Sometimes, staff will deliver the order to the guest, but forget to mark it as complete. 

How It Works

There are three potential places your Arryved Online orders can appear in Arryved Service:

  • On the TAB screen 

  • On the Order Fulfillment screen

  • On the ORDER screen 

TAB Screen

Orders from Arryved Online appear on the main TAB screen in Arryved Service, but they look a little different! 

  1. Open Arryved Service and log in.

  2. From the top left, select one of your online Venues (you may only have one). 

  3. Tap TAB from the top navigation bar. 

  4. From the buttons at the bottom, tap the button that says ALL.

  5. Tap that same button again to switch to the Venue view. 

The Venue view only shows tabs that came from this Venue. Since you have your online Venue selected, it’ll show your online orders. 

  • Please note: You may have more than one online Venue to separate out your Arryved Online Order Modalities (Pickup, Curbside, Delivery, etc.). 

From the list of tabs, tap the button next to the tab that says which Order Modality it came from to mark the order complete and remove it from the TAB screen. 


Pros

  • Managing Arryved Online orders through the TAB screen doesn’t require any additional setup and is easy to get to. 

Cons

  • Online orders are mixed in with tabs that were started in Arryved Service and OpenTab, too. To isolate them, you’ll need to select your online Venue and toggle to the Venue view. 

  • If you don’t mark the order complete by the end of the day, it’ll be removed from the TAB screen at batch time. 

    • There is a preference we can set to roll these tabs over to the next day if not marked complete, but that may cause sales discrepancies. Contact Arryved Support for more info. 

  • The TAB screen won’t show orders placed through the In Person or Ship It Order Modalities. 

Order Fulfillment Screen

When the Order Fulfillment screen is enabled for Arryved Service, a new button is added to the STAFF screen to access it. The Order Fulfillment screen shows all orders that came from your Arryved Online Store. 

  • Tap the ‘Picked Up’, ‘Delivered’, or ‘Shipped’ buttons next to the tab to mark them as complete once they’ve been fulfilled and given to the guest. 

  • Orders will remain on this page for 60 days if never marked complete.

In Arryved’s opinion, this is the best option for managing your Arryved Online orders.

Pros

  • This screen only shows orders from Arryved Online.  

  • Order information includes the guest’s contact information, too. 

  • Orders remain on the screen for 60 days, giving you some wiggle room to fulfill it. This is a good safety net since online orders are removed from the TAB screen at the end of the same day they were ordered. 

Cons

  • You need to tap on an order to expand it’s details, rather than the details visible on the list view. 

  • You’ll need to contact Arryved Support to enable this screen. 

ORDER Screen

The ORDER screen can be enabled for each of your Venues through your Arryved Portal Venue Configuration

In Arryved Service, when you are toggled to a Venue with the ORDER screen enabled, you’ll see the additional screen choice added to the top navigation bar. 

  • Tap on the ORDER screen to see a list of orders as digital tickets. 

  • All orders from all sources and Venues are shown on the ORDER screen at first, but you can toggle the Venue view to only show orders from the current Venue. 

  • Pro Tip! If you’re working under your online Venue, the Venue view shows your online orders. 

  • To mark orders complete, tap Done next to the tab.

The ORDER screen is another version of the Order Fulfillment screen, but it works a little differently. For managing Arryved Online orders, we recommend the Order Fulfillment screen, but we will let you decide what option is best for you. 

Pros

  • The tabs on the screen are displayed as digital tickets. You can use this screen as a simplified KDS (Kitchen Display System) setup. 

  • The items ordered are shown next to each tab on the list, you don’t need to tap on an order to see the details. 

  • You can filter the view by your Pickup, Curbside, or Delivery Times Options to see what needs to be fulfilled next. 

Cons

  • The ORDER screen on any Venue will show all tabs from all channels and Venues as the default view, you must tap on the Venue view to isolate tabs that came in just from that Venue.

  • Contact info and relevant delivery/pickup info from the guest are not shown on this screen. 

  • This screen doesn’t show orders placed through the Ship It Order Modality
