In Arryved Service, you can only have one of your card readers connected at a time. If you’d like to switch from using one card reader to another, you’ll need to select the new one in the Arryved Service Settings. Use this guide to learn how to do so.
The card reader must already be paired to the Android device.
Only one reader can be used at a time in Arryved Service.
If you’re switching to the BBPOS reader, we advise using it for Quick Close transactions only. It can’t hold a card on file.
Follow the steps below to switch from using one card reader to another in Arryved Service.
Grab your POS device.
Grab the new card reader you want to switch to.
Power on the card reader and make sure the battery is charged.
Look for the serial number on the bottom of the card reader. You may need to remove the reader from its sleeve or koozie.
On the POS device, open Arryved Service and log in.
From the top navigation, tap STAFF.
Tap the Settings button.
Under the Card Reader section, tap the Reader button.
Select the card reader from the list that matches its serial number.
Tap Done.
To see if the new card reader selection was successful, try to complete a payment or start a new tab with a card on file.
When the ‘Ready To Swipe’ screen appears, look for the green dollar sign on the right side. Green means good to go!
If it’s red, that means no reader is available.
