Payroll Report By Shift Tip Overview

What Is The Payroll By Shift Tip Report?

The Payroll (Shift Tip) report shows payroll and tip information per Employee broken down by Labor Role. The tip information is pulled from tips entered in Arryved Service via Shift Tip though Cash Actions or Forced Tip Claim.

Prerequisites

  • Your establishment has Cash Actions and/or Forced Tip Claim enabled and Employees use Shift Tip actively. 

  • If you would like to use this report, contact your Implementation Manager to enable it.

  • For an Employee to see this report in Arryved Portal, they must be a Super Admin or an Admin all 3 of the following Portal Permissions:

    • REPORTING

    • VIEW HOURS

    • VIEW PAY

Limitations

  • This report is designed to be used after batch time, meaning the next business day after transacting. 

  • This report does not divide tips by Venue. 

  • Tips in this report are not differentiated by type (cash, card, gift card, etc.).

  • It is recommended to double check that hours are correct and make any adjustments before generating the report. 

    • Go to: Arryved Portal -> Employees -> View Hours.

    • MODIFY_HOURS and MANAGE_EMPLOYEMENT Portal Permissions needed. 

  • Only employees clocked in with a Tipped and Clockin Required Labor Role will be included in the tips section of this report. Labor Roles that are not tipped roles will show payroll information, but not tips. 

  • The Cash Labor Role Permission is required for employees to use the Cash Actions tool in Arryved Service.

    • Go to: Arryved Portal -> Employees -> Labor Roles.


  • IMPORTANT! There needs to be at least one Tipped Labor Role clocked in for the day for tips to be allocated properly. 

How It Works

  1. In your Arryved Portal, navigate to Reporting.

  2. Click on Operations or Favorites.

    • When enabled, this report is usually placed under your Reporting Favorites, if not, it will be under Operations.

  3. Click on Payroll Report (Shift Tip)

  4. Select the date or range of days you would like to view. 

  5. Click Preview or Download.

Payroll

In the Payroll (Shift Tip) report the leftmost columns show Employee Names, Jobs (Labor Roles), the Date(s) of the report, Hours Worked in time, Hours Worked in decimal, Regular Hours vs. Overtime Hours, and Regular vs. Overtime Pay. This information can be used to complete payroll for Employees who clock in and out through Arryved Service. 

The bottom left of the report will show the Overtime Rule, including the calculation, that has been set for your Company’s Location. 

Individual Tipping

This report will show tips that were declared though the Shift Tip function in Cash Actions or Forced Tip Claim by each Employee.
