What Is Forced Tip Claim?

Forced Tip Claim is a replica of our Cash Actions tool that forces the Cash Actions prompt when an employee clocks out of Arryved Service. This is helpful for ensuring your employees are recording the tips they’re walking out with.

Prerequisites

  • To enable Forced Tip Claim in Arryved Service, an Arryved Portal Super Admin must enable the following two Location Preference:

    • 'Allow Cash Actions in Arryved Service'

    • 'Force cash tip claim on clock out'

Limitations

  • With Forced Tip Claim, the Cash Actions prompt appears for any employee who clocks out of Arryved Service. This can’t be restricted to specific Labor Roles or employees.

    • Employees who don’t need to claim anything can enter $0.00 on the Forced Tip Claim prompt when they clock out.

How It Works

When an employee clocks out in Arryved Service, they’ll be presented with the Forced Tip Claim prompt where they’ll declare their tips. Tips declared can be cash, credit, or both, that’s up to you and what best suits your business practices.

When prompted upon clock-out, the employee will,

  1. Keep the default Shift Tip option or tap the Employee button.

  2. Keep Cash as the default type (even if cash and card tips are being declared).

  3. Enter the Amount.

    • If an employee whose clocking-out isn’t claiming any tips or Cash Actions, they’ll need to tap into the Amount field and enter $0.00 to exit the Forced Tip Claim prompt.

  4. Source and Description are optional.

  5. Tap Add.
