Cash Actions is a tool located on the STAFF screen in Arryved Service used to manually record actions handling cash. The Cash Actions tool has 3 main uses:
Logging Start and End Cash Till balances.
Logging non-standard cash transactions coming in and out of the cash drawer.
Allow Employees to claim and log the tips that they are walking out with each night.
This article shows you how you can use Cash Actions in Arryved Service.
To add the Cash Action screen to your Arryved Service POS, the 'Allow Cash Actions in Arryved Service' Location Preference must be enabled by an Arryved Portal Super Admin.

The Actions available are a bit arbitrary. As long as you know what you’re using them for, you can essentially use them however you see fit. They are simply used to help you report various instances of handling cash. Here’s an example of how you can use the Actions,
Start Till
To record your starting till (cash drawer or cash bank) balance.
End Till
To record your closing till (cash drawer or cash bank) balance.
Shift Tip
Use however you see fit. You can find this Cash Action reported in the Payroll Report By Shift Tip.
Pay Out
To record cash coming out of the drawer or bank. For example, you’re tipping out the band.
Pay In
To record cash being entered in the drawer or bank, such as adding a sleeve of $1 bills.
Employee
Use however you see fit. Find this Action recorded in the Cash Actions Log and the Emp. Cash Handling report.
When the Cash Actions tool is enabled, the Tips button becomes available on the STAFF screen. This is where employees can manually enter any cash tips onto their respective tabs or make adjustments to credit card tips.
Employees can also use the Tips button to enter a personal starting bank amount and claim tips.
The Tip Claim button functions the same as the "Employee" Cash Actions option.
If an amount is entered under the Bank button, it’ll appear in the Cash Actions list as "Employee Bank."
Forced Tip Claim is a feature that can be enabled to prompt a Cash Actions window at the time of clock out so the individual employee is forced to enter a tip claim. Contact Arryved Support to enable this feature if desired.

Here’s where you can find a record of your Cash Actions in your Arryved Portal:
Look for the ‘Employee Tip Cash Declaration’ field in the Sales Summary. This records the ‘Employee’ action only.
The ‘Employee’ action plus any cash tips entered in Arryved Service are recorded in the ‘Cash Tips’ section of the End of Day Tool.
Use the Payroll Report By Shift Tip for the ‘Shift Tip’ Action specifically.
