Your online Venues are created in your Arryved Portal and used for your Arryved Online Store. Creating separate online Venues allows you to curate unique menus for online ordering that can be different from your regular on-premise menus. Online Venues also have a more dynamic menu sorting tool that’s helpful for organizing your menus in a way that online shoppers can easily navigate through. Use this guide to set up your Venues for your Arryved Online Store.
If you’re setting up your Arryved Online Store now, begin with the Arryved Online Setup Guide and follow the steps in order. This is step 2 of the Setup Guide.
To create and edit online Venues, you must be an Arryved Portal Super Admin or an Admin with one of the following Permissions:
VENUE CONFIGURATION
ALL ACCESS
FULL ADMIN
If you only create one online Venue, all of your online Order Modalities will have the same menu offering. To have separate menus, you need separate Venues.
When it comes to online ordering, there are 5 Order Modalities you can set up and offer to your online shoppers:
Pickup
Curbside
Delivery
Shipping

You must create at least one online Venue to activate these Order Modalities. However, you can create up to 5 separate Venues for each Modality if needed.
Here’s what to consider:
A common setup is to have one online Venue for the three To-go Modalities, a second Venue for online ordering In Person, and a third Venue for Ship It.
Online - To-go (Pick-up/Curbside/Delivery)
Online - In-person Service
Online - Shipping
If you want all 5 Modalities to have their own menu, you’ll need to create 5 separate online Venues for each one.
If any Modalities have the same menu offerings, they can live under the same Venue.
The only other reason you may want to separate out the Modalities in different Venues is so the Modalities can have their own ORDER screen in Arryved Service where you can toggle to see the list of orders that came from that Venue alone when toggled to the Venue view.
Once you’ve decided how many online Venues you need, follow these steps to create them,
Log into your Arryved Portal.
From the left side navigation, click Venue.
Click the Plus Sign (+) at the bottom of your Venue list.
Give your Venue a Description (name) and Short Form (nickname) that represents the online Venue accurately.
Click Create.
From your newly created Venue, look for the Venue Type dropdown at the top and select ONLINE.
There’s one main benefit to this ONLINE Venue Type, and that’s the ability to sort your menus and menu items more dynamically, which comes in handy for your Online Store.

On the right side of the Venue page, click Edit Configuration.

Enable Returns
Enable ORDER Screen ← This enables a separate screen in Arryved Service (for this Venue), used to manage online orders.
