Tab Tags are a valuable tool for identifying tabs in any way you may need to. You can create unique Tab Tags in your Arryved Portal, and they’ll be available to apply to tabs in Arryved service. Tab Tags are visible on the TAB screen to help quickly identify the tab. And, some Tab Tags will print on prep tickets, too (TOGO, CUT OFF, and CHECK ID).
Tab Tags are an internal communication tool for staff. They aren’t visible to your guests. Maybe you want to call out all the tabs from the large wedding group or identify the band members playing tonight. Tags are also commonly used to identify folks that’ve been “cut off” or still need their IDs checked.
Many Arryved reports are filterable by Tab Tags so you can separate and analyze sales data on tabs with a specific Tag. This article shows you how to apply Tags to a tab in Arryved Service.
Tab Tag Types must be created in Arryved Portal before being applied to a tab in Arryved Service.
Only one Tag can be applied to a tab at a time.
If you perform a Quick Closeout right after adding a Tab Tag, the Tag won’t save. You must tap Send on the tab’s order screen to save the Tag.
Tab Tags are used to label tabs in Arryved Service, they are not to be confused with Item Tags that are used to label your inventory Items in Arryved Portal.
Open Arryved Service and log in.
From the TAB screen, tap on a tab or tap New to begin a new tab.
For an existing tab, tap Order.
From the tab’s order screen, tap on the tab name at the top. If this is a new tab, it’ll say No User Set.
You’re now looking at the tab’s Active Consumers screen. Tap on the Tag button.
You’ll see all the tabs you’ve created in your Arryved Portal appear on this list. Tap on the Tag you’d like to apply.
If this is a new tab, give it a name on the Active Consumers screen. Tap Done to head back to the order screen.
Tap Send to save the tab with the tab tag.
In the image below, you see how the Tab Tag labels the tab on the TAB screen in Arryved Service.
To remove a Tab Tag, you’ll need to use the Running Tab Window.
In Arryved Service, find the tab from the TAB screen and tap on it.
The Running Tab window will appear, tap the TAG button.
Tap NONE to remove the tag.
Heads up, the NONE option under the Active Consumers screen (where you added the Tag) is not functional at this time. You’ll have to remove any Tags using this method only.
