ACH Credit Card Deposit FAQs

What is an ACH deposit?

ACH, or the Automated Clearing House network, is how money is sent electronically from one bank to another. Money routes from your guests’ bank accounts to your business account via ACH deposits on a regular basis.

When should I see deposits come into my bank account?

Credit and Debit sales should reach your account two business days after the sales have been made. Weekends and holidays will delay the deposit time.

Example

1. Sale made on Monday.

2. Sale was batched Tuesday morning around  3:00 AM local time.

3. Funds are released on Wednesday morning around 9:00 AM local time.

Schedule

What are my combined deposits?

Thursday + Friday

Transactions that occur on Thursdays and Fridays are typically combined into one deposit that’s released on Mondays

Saturday + Sunday

Transactions that occur on Saturdays and Sundays are typically combined into one deposit that’s released on Tuesdays

What are the limitations?

  • Every bank is different. Even though funds are released around 9:00 AM local time, your bank might not post that deposit until later in the day (and on some rare occasions, until the next day).

  • Your first deposit can occasionally be delayed by a day or two as the Merchant Processor and your Bank establish the connection.

  • Any bank holidays will delay the ACH Deposit by one business day. Mondays are the most common day for a bank holiday.

What if I need to switch banks?

Who should I contact if I am not receiving deposits?

Contact your Implementation Manager if you’re having issues. Please read and understand the limitations mentioned above before reaching out to Arryved.

When should I expect processing fees to be charged?

Fees are withdrawn on the 10th of each month unless the 10th falls on a weekend or holiday, then fees are withdrawn the next business day.

  • You’ll receive a paper statement in the mail on or around the same day.
