A Flight is a grouped offering of multiple items, sold as a single item. Flights can be anything from beer, cider, spirits, tacos, sliders, or even merch! This guide shows you how a Flight can be ordered in your Arryved Online Store.
The Flight has been created as an Inventory Item in your Arryved Portal.
The Flight was put on one of your Arryved Online menus.
If any of the Inventory Items available for the Flight have a $0 price, the Flight won’t appear in your Online Store.
All of the items in the Flight must be ordered at the same time.
You can’t sell alcoholic items through the Ship It Order Modality.
There are two types of flights guests can purchase through your Arryved Online Store:
Preset Flight
Choose Any # From A List
When a guest selects a preset Flight from your Arryved Online Store menu, a window pops up with the list of the preset items included in the Flight along with the price.
Pro Tip! Add a photo and description to the Flight Item’s Display Information in your Arryved Portal.
This type of Flight allows the guest to select the items they want in the Flight. Here’s how it works online:
When selected, a window appears with a full list of items that can be chosen from, for this Flight.
The guest can choose to ‘show descriptions’ by using the toggle above the list. When toggled on, a description shows for each item. Descriptions need to be added to Inventory Items under Display Information in Arryved Portal.
To select items for the Flight, the guest will check the box next to the item.
Using the + and - buttons next to the selected item, they can increase the quantity of that selected item.
If they try to select more items than are allowed, a warning message appears.
The + and - quantity button at the bottom of the prompt allows the guest to order more than one of that whole Flight.
