Updates to Arryved’s existing products and features

The New Look For Starting Tabs 

To bring some ease to your staff’s service flow, we’ve updated how you start a tab in Arryved Service so that it requires fewer taps of the finger! 

1. We’ve eliminated the ‘Swipe’ button previously needed to leave a card on file. Your card reader now auto-connects and a card can be swiped with one less finger tap!
   

• Bonus! Staff can long-press the New button on the TAB screen to bypass the order screen and start a tab with just one finger tap!

Banner Removed From The Clock-In Screen

The banner shown across the top of the clock-in screen announcing the new look for starting tabs has been removed in this release.

SMS With Fresh KDS

For Fresh KDS users, we’ve improved the SMS feature in Arryved Service. Now, when a phone number is added to a tab after the initial order has been placed, the guest will receive messaging for all subsequent orders on their tab. 

Fresh KDS Fallback Printers

If Fresh KDS becomes unavailable, the Merchant Peripherals page in your Arryved Portal now allows you to select a fallback printer for your KDS screens. Selectable from the Device Name field. 

Dual Pricing Receipts

If you’re on Arryved’s Dual Pricing program, we’ve made some changes to the text shown on receipts:

• ‘Cash discounted prices below’ changed to → ‘Cash prices below’ 

• ‘Non-cash total due’ Changed to → ‘Total due’

Android 14 Improvements 

We’ve made the following improvements to Arryved Service for users with the new Android 14 OS:

• The search bar under Table Number selection is now supported.

• Bad text alignment has been fixed. 

Placing Items On Hold

We’ve improved the functionality of our Hold feature which was not working as intended in Arryved Service versions 1.26 and higher.
