Learn more about how each report column is calculated and what it means:
Item: The Menu Item that was modified.
Item Size: The specific Unit Size that was ordered and modified.
Modifier: The name of the Item Modifier.
Action: Specifies if the Modifier was Added to (Add), Removed from (No), or Substituted (Sub) for something else when ordered with the Menu Item at the specified size.
Only Modifiers with the ‘Add’ action will have an upcharge analysis. Modifiers that were removed from Menu Items or substituted don’t affect prices, and so these will show “n/a” in the Total Upcharge and Average Upcharge columns.
Occurrences: The number of times the Modifier was applied to the Menu Item at the specified size.
Total Item Orders: The total number of times the Menu Item at the specified size was ordered, regardless of whether it was modified or not. This is helpful if you want to compare modification frequency to total order frequency. How many times was the Menu Item modified out of the total number of times it was sold?
Total Upcharges: The total revenue in upcharges collected from this Modifier when applied to the Item at the specified size.
Average Upcharge: The Total Upcharges divided by the number of times it was applied to the Menu Item (Occurrences). This tells you the average price of the Modifier for this Item at the specified size. This is often equal to the price set to the Item Modifier itself, unless a Price Floor is involved.
In the given time period, 20 orders of Burger - ORDER were sold. 4 of those orders had Caramelized Onions added with an average upcharge of $1.25.
