What Is Arryved Insider?
Arryved Insider isn’t just a loyalty program, it’s so much more! It’s your solution for driving traffic, engaging guests, and building loyalty in your community. Integrated with your Arryved POS, Insider provides flexibility to build a loyalty program catered to your brand.
Your Insider Members can be easily identified in Arryved Service when they start a tab with one of their stored cards. When the tab knows it’s them, the Insider Member can earn Loyalty Points from their purchases and redeem Offers and Rewards. This guide shows you how to store a card to a Member’s account, so their Membership can quickly be identified the next time they visit.
Prerequisites
You’ve read the Arryved Insider Overview guide.
Your Arryved Insider program is active.
The Insider Member needs to be identified first before a new card can be saved to their account. It won’t work if you close the guest’s tab before identifying them as an Insider Member.
Limitations
Up to 3 cards can be stored on the Insider Member’s profile.
It can take up to 30 minutes for the new card information to be fully stored.
This can only take place in Arryved Service under a Venue that has the Digital Signature screen enabled.
If you’re using our BBPOS card reader, you’ll need to manually enter the card number to store it on the Insider’s account. Tap to pay or chip insert won’t store the card.
If the tab is $0.00 it won’t allow you to add a new card to the Insider Member’s profile.
Cards stored on an Insider Member’s account can’t be used to pay the tab. They are simply used to identify the Membership and link it to the tab.
How It Works
There are a handful of ways to successfully save a new card to an Insider Member’s profile. However, two things always need to happen in any order:
Identify the Insider Member: The Member’s Insider account needs to be identified in Arryved Service at some point.
Swipe/enter a new card: A card that is not already stored on their profile needs to be swiped or manually entered at some point.
No matter the order of events, the Digital Signature screen in Arryved Service is where the Member will be prompted to add the card to their account. If you're closing out a Member from a Venue that uses paper signature receipts, the card info won't be able to save.
Identifying The Insider Member
Read How To Identify Insider Members In Arryved Service for full details, but here’s a recap of the various ways to identify a Member's account:
Card on file
Leave a card on file with a card already stored on their Insider account.
Upon checkout, the Member will have to pay with a different card. The new card will then save to their Insider account.
Tab Name Screen
Where a tab is named or a card is put on file, there’s an Insider button. Lookup by name, email, or phone.
Wallet Query
On the STAFF screen in Arryved Service, tap the Wallet Query button. Lookup by name, email, or phone.
From the Insider Wallet, tap New Tab.
Digital Signature screen
This is the final chance to identify the Member’s account on their tab before they close out.
From the Digital Signature screen, tap the Insider button. Lookup by email or phone.
The card that was already swiped to get to the digital signature screen, must be a card not already saved to their account. Thus, they’re able to save this new card.
Swipe/Enter A Card
In Arryved Service, Here’s how you can swipe or manually enter a card:
Card on file
Use the new card to start a tab, leaving the card on file.
You can look up the Members from the Wallet Query first, then start a tab with a card on file from there. If not, then you’ll need to look up the Membership from the tab name screen.
Payment options screen
Select the Reader or Manual Card Entry buttons from the payment options screen.
Swipe or manually enter the new card.
If there’s a card on file that’s not the one you want to add to their account now, tap No when asked if you want to pay with the card on file. Now swipe or enter the new card.
Gut Check!
To see if the guest’s new card was successfully added to their profile, start a new tab, swipe their card, and see if it identifies their Membership. Keep in mind it usually takes up to 30 minutes to sync.
