The Arryved Online Order Modalities are the various ways a guest can receive their online order. When setting up your Arryved Online Store, you can choose to offer one, some, or all of the Modalities including Pickup, Delivery, Curbside, Ship It, or In Person.
With the Ship It Modality, guests can make a purchase in your Arryved Online Store and have the items shipped directly to them. Follow this guide to set up the Ship It Modality for your Arryved Online Store.
If you don't see the Ship It Settings in your Arryved Portal, and you wish to use the Ship It Modality, contact Arryved Support to activate it for you.

You must create your Online Venues first.
To set up and customize the Arryved Online Order Modalities you must be an Arryved Portal Super Admin or an Admin with one of the following Permissions:
ONLINE ORDERING SETTINGS
ALL ACCESS
FULL ADMIN
There can only be one fixed-priced Shipping Fee that applies to all items on the Ship It Modality menu.
Pro tip! Create a separate online Venue for Ship It, so it can have its own menu so you can curate the items available to ship.
Alcohol items can’t be shipped.
Arryved can’t assist with any shipping logistics.
If your POS devices are offline or in Offline Mode, they won’t receive online orders, but nothing stops guests from placing orders through your Online Store from their end. It’s advised to turn online ordering off when offline.

Review and save Settings
The Order Modalities are set up and customized in your Online Store Settings. First, you need to assign the Modality to an online Venue.
Head to your Arryved Portal.
From the left side navigation, click Location Settings.
Click Online Store Settings.
At the top next to Venue(s), click the plus sign (+) to add Venue then select the correct online Venue you want to use for this Modality.
The Venue you select will appear below, new check the box labeled ‘Ship It’.
Pro Tip! Create a separate online Venue for the Ship It Modality so it can have its own menu offering. You probably have fewer items you can ship than the other Order Modalities (such as food for Pickup).
Scroll down to the Ship It Settings and click to expand. them.
Select one of the four Ship It Zone Options:
Ship to all 50 states and DC
Ship to the contiguous states and DC (excludes Alaska & Hawaii)
Only ship within your state
This option knows which state you’re in based on your Arryved Location Settings.
Select the states you’d like to include.
In this textbox, write a message to your online shoppers including information about your shipping process. This message is visible as guests browse the menu and again at the checkout screen.
This message automatically includes your Ship It Order Minimum, Ship It Fee, and Ship It Estimate. So only include any additional info needed.
Enter a Ship It Minimum here, or leave it blank for no minimum.
If a shopper’s Cart Total is below the Ship It Minimum, they’ll receive a warning, and the ‘Next’ button in their cart will be disabled, meaning they aren’t able to checkout.
You can create a Shipping Fee as an Inventory Item and sync it with your Arryved Online Store. Learn how:
When you have a Shipping Fee created, it displays in the box and the ‘Edit Fee’ button is visible. Click it to be taken to your Delivery Fee Inventory Item where you can make changes.
When you’re done creating the Shipping Fee, return to this guide and continue to Step 6.
In this textbox, write a message letting guests know about how long shipping may take. This message is displayed while shoppers are browsing the Ship It menu online and again on the checkout screen.
Review your Ship It Settings on this page to make sure everything is correct and there are no typos in your guest-facing messaging. Then, click Save at the top or bottom of this page, when you’re ready!
To see your customized Ship It Modality live, access your Arryved Online Store link at the top of this Online Store Settings page.
Embed your Arryved Online Store link on your website, your social media, or in QR codes scattered around your location!
Guests will arrive at your Online Store and first may need to answer if they are 21+. Then, they’ll choose which Modality they’d like to order through.
If you have the Ship It Modality set up in your Online Store Settings, guests will have that option available to choose from.
Online shoppers can then browse the Ship It menu, and add items to their cart. The menu is unique to the Venue the Ship It Modality is assigned to.
Below is the form they’ll fill out during checkout. You can see your customized Settings here.
The guest can leave contact info here. This section isn’t customizable.
This checkbox is used for the Fresh KDS integration that offers an SMS feature.
Click the arrow on the right of the bar to expand the information. Here, guests will read the Ship It Info message written in the Ship It Settings in your Arryved Portal, along with the details of your Ship It Order Minimum, Ship It Fee, and Ship It Estimate.
The guest enters the address to which they want the order to be mailed.
If this box is checked, ‘this order is a gift’ will appear with the order’s information in Arryved Service. Use that information however you see fit.
The info that the guests entered in the checkout form can be found on the tab’s Running Tab screen in Arryved Service.
There are two ways to find the info on this screen:
In Arryved Service from the TAB screen, tap on a tab with an online order, then tap Details.
From the Order Fulfillment screen, tap on an online order from the list.
